Ok please for the love of GOD can we STOP promoting Failure like it’s a Flipping trophy of pride?

Yes, successful people most have failed many times but eventually made it. They focus on the goal, not the failure or how they recovered from the failure. They focused on the GOEL.

Here maybe this make sense to you…

You as a child or maybe your child, when they were learning to walk.

Did you cheer them on… “fall! Come on fall. Its ok fall. Oh, yah you finally fell now let’s get back up.”

NO!!!!!

At least I pray you didn’t… a normal person says “walk… come on you can do it. Walk. There you go that’s it keeps going. Yah you did it.”

There you are focusing on the GOAL = Walking… not failing or learning from failure. The Goal!

So why is it the new craze the last 2-3 year to focus so much on failure? Yes, learning from it is great but every post on social media, every blog, every guru, every email looks like this.

The greats all failed. Winner learn from failure. Failing is great. Fail 100 times just like everyone else. Well you know what you’re creating? A generation of failures that try and fail and learn from it but can’t figure out why they fail 100 times is because they don’t focus on their GOAL!!!!

Oh, a hustling! WTF? Hustle hustle blah blah… hustling is for losers going nowhere. Instead of hustling start DOING, hell maybe accomplishing. We need to learn the power of our words and the affect they have on ourselves and those around us.

Ok hope this helps at least one person.

Peace,

Have a great weekend.

I’ll have an CAD monkey please

A tourist walked into a pet shop and was looking at the animals on display. While he was there, another customer walked in and said to the shopkeeper, “I’ll have an CAD monkey please.”

The shopkeeper nodded, went over to a cage at the side of the shop and took out a monkey. He fitted a collar and leash, handed it to the customer, saying, “That’ll be $5000.” The customer paid and walked out with his monkey.

Startled, the tourist went over to the shopkeeper and said, “That was a very expensive monkey. Most of them are only few hundred dollars. Why did that one cost so much?”

The Shopkeeper answered, “Ah, that monkey can draw in CAD – very fast, clear layouts, no mistakes, well worth the money.”

The tourist looked at a monkey in another cage. “That one’s even more expensive! $10,000! What does it do?”

“Oh, that one’s a Design monkey; it can design systems, layout projects, mark-up drawings, write specifications, some even calculate. All the really useful stuff,” said the shopkeeper.

The tourist looked around for a little longer and saw a third monkey in a cage of its own. The price tag around its neck read $50,000. He gasped to the shopkeeper, “That one costs more than all the others put together! What on earth does it do?”

The shopkeeper replied, “Well, I haven’t actually seen it do anything, but it says it’s an Engineer.”

Waste no words on a man who dislikes you. Actions will impress him more

Some people think they can talk their way out of any situation, and for a time they may be right But if someone already dislikes you, either because of a simple misunderstanding or an error in judgment on your part, he or she will be especially difficult to persuade with words. Their emotions will always get in the way of their ability to think logically and reasonably. Consistent actions over a sustained period of time, however, will usually persuade even the most devout skeptic. If you constantly demonstrate that you are a generous, kind, and caring person, it will be very hard for even your enemies to dislike you. In any case, you will become a better person for having made the effort.

If you are a shepherd, be the best and you may live to own the flock

shepherd

One of the most wonderful things about life is that we are all unique with different levels of intelligence, interests, aptitudes, and desires. How dreadfully dull it would be if we all wanted to be nuclear physicists — or bakers. But, regardless of the gifts we may have received at birth and whichever skills we may have since developed, we all have the capability to be the best at what we do. Being the best is strictly a reflection of your attitude and your desire. Whether you are a salesperson, an executive, a secretary, or an assembly-line worker, you have the capacity to be as good as you choose to be. When you become outstanding at what you do, you will discover greatly increased demand for your services. When you become the best in your line of work, you may be asked so often to help other “sheep” that you will soon own your own “flock.”

Wisdom consists in knowing what not to want as well as what to want.

Your goals should also be designed to create rewards that are most important to you, not to someone else. Some experimentation may be required, particularly during your early years, to find what you really like and what you’re best at. Career and financial goals should be balanced with personal goals such as maintaining relationships with people who are important to you. Your plan for your life should also include some fun goals, doing something simply because you enjoy doing it. Spiritual development is also important in becoming a happy, well-rounded person. Make sure you allow time for all important aspects of your personal development.

If you must meddle in human relationships, try to be a peacemaker

You will find that you don’t have much competition.

When faced with a conflict between others, most of us are more inclined to walk away from the situation than to become involved. If we do allow ourselves to become a participant, it is usually by adopting the position of one at the expense of the other. Of course, such behavior does little to resolve the dispute and may in fact exacerbate the problem. But when you make a genuine attempt to help resolve the situation, you should not be surprised if you’re the only one. We are all complex individuals with feelings and emotions we often don’t fully understand. Sometimes the mere involvement of a disinterested party is enough to help resolve the dispute. Make sure, though, if you are the one in the middle that you don’t allow yourself to get into a position where you must choose between the desires of one person over the other. Work toward a compromise that best suits everyone’s interests.

No one has yet discovered the limitations of the power of his own mind

Pat Ryan, the chairman and CEO of Aon Corporation, the giant multinational insurance company, is fond of saying, “You can’t conceive how high ‘up’ is, except for the limitations of your own mind.” It’s not very good English, he admits, but it emphatically makes the point that the only limits that can be placed on the power of your mind will be those you impose on it yourself. When you brainstorm, don’t allow limits to be placed on any idea. Sometimes the ideas that seem the craziest at the time will later prove to be the most inspired. If you’re working with your Master Mind group, encourage the free flow of ideas from every individual present. Don’t be critical or analytical during the brainstorming process; at this point, every idea is a good one. Cluster the ideas into groups of related thoughts so that the best of them can later be shaped for practical application.
